Administrator diagnostics
Provider credentials belong on the server.
This screen never asks for a provider API key. Your workspace access key is different: do not paste an STT, OpenAI or platform credential into workspace settings.
Refresh reads server configuration only. It does not contact an AI provider, check its balance or make a paid test call. Configuration readiness is not proof of a working credential.

Server administrator setup checklist
There is no provider-secret save or validation endpoint in the current API. Ask your server administrator to complete this setup in the server secret manager, not in this page or Git.
- Get owner approval for the provider, model, data transfer/retention terms and a capped test budget. Use a short recording you have permission to process.
- For uploaded-media STT, set
STT_BASE_URL,STT_API_KEY(secret) andSTT_MODEL. Use HTTPS except for a local loopback service. SetSTT_RESPONSE_FORMATandSTT_TIMESTAMP_GRANULARITYto match a model that returns exact timestamps and detected language. - Configure
STT_MODEL_COSTS_USD_PER_MINUTEfor the exact model, plus workspace and per-operation budgets. Check the transcription path and diarization settings against provider documentation; do not assume every OpenAI-compatible model supports them. - For cloud text translation, use the platform server settings
PUGI_AI_BASE_URL,PUGI_AI_API_KEY(secret) andPUGI_AI_MODEL. If the platform lane is absent, the administrator can explicitly configureCHAT_BASE_URL,CHAT_API_KEY(secret) andCHAT_MODEL. ConfigureTRANSLATION_ESTIMATED_COST_USD_PER_1000_TOKENS. No automatic vendor switch or signup is performed here. - Apply the server configuration using the approved deployment procedure, then refresh this screen. Only after separate owner approval, run one capped upload/translation and verify timestamps, language, citations and actual usage. Refresh alone is not a live test.
Local Whisper and local translation are separate opt-in alternatives. YouTube source authorization remains a separate approval gate; configuring STT does not unlock public YouTube acquisition. Grounded Q&A uses transcript evidence and is not proof of a cloud chat connection.
