Captions and subtitles for accessible video
Generate a timestamped transcript and caption files you can attach to your own video, in the language your viewers read.
Personal testing · closed beta
What you get
Caption files are generated from the same timestamped transcript, so the text and the timing stay in step.
- SRT and VTT caption files you can attach to a video
- A full transcript you can publish alongside the video
- Translated captions only with an enabled provider and supported language pair
Review before publishing
Automatic captions are a starting point, not a finished caption track. Check the text against the audio, correct technical terms and keep speaker changes clear before you publish.
Rights and limitations
VTI works on video you own or are authorised to use. It does not bypass platform protections.
VTI does not claim conformance with any accessibility standard. Check your own requirements before you rely on the captions.
Questions
Is the caption file ready to publish without review?
Review it first. Automatic transcription can make mistakes, so check the text and timing before you publish.
Which caption formats are available?
SRT and VTT. Each cue keeps its timing from transcription through translation.
